As Acting Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Paul is responsible for managing BACB’s financial resources as we pursue our strategy of safe sustainable growth. Paul leads the Finance and Treasury teams.
From a career spanning more than 35 years, Paul has a wealth of experience in Finance, Risk and Operational Management at financial institutions in the UK and emerging markets. This includes more than 6 years as Chief Operating Officer BACB before moving into the Acting CFO position.
Prior to joining BACB in 2014, Paul has held senior positions at Standard Bank Group, BNP Paribas and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. Paul has also held a directorial role at Deloitte where he specialised in providing risk consulting services to financial institution clients.
A qualified chartered accountant with strong technical, analytical and management skills, Paul began his career in an audit and business advisory role with Arthur Andersen.
