Jane joined BACB in April 2023 as Chief People Officer, with executive responsibility for the Bank’s people agenda – something that is considered paramount to the success of the overall business strategy. In her role Jane oversees the implementation of BACB’s comprehensive programme for supporting its employees, which has a particular emphasis on cultivating, acquiring, and retaining the most talented professionals in the industry. This work is seen as critical for driving the Bank's continued expansion and success.
A seasoned HR professional with more than a decade of experience, Jane has a proven track record of effectively leading human resource functions across a range of sectors – including banking and finance. Jane was previously Chief People Officer at Cabot Credit Management and prior to this held roles at Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland. Her diverse background includes leading both domestic and international teams, including as HR Director, Europe for Western Union.
Jane holds an MSc (Hons) in Industrial Organisational Psychology from Canterbury University, New Zealand and a BA in Psychology & Education from Otago University, New Zealand.
